Christmas gift for Mom

One of the greatest gift I was able to get for this Christmas is the fine white gold necklace for my mom. Probably because she’s the one who chose it amongst all the jewelry selection and the husband and I just paid for it. You see, I’ve been checking out sites that features personal gifts for mom and learned that jewelries are always on the top of the most sought after gift form mothers. So there, we opted for that and yes, she truly loved it!

Sunday meet up

Last Sunday, my friend Peachy and I together with our own families had dinner at Harbour Square in Roxas Blvd. Actually, I was pretty amazed with the place and didn’t expect it to be loaded with lots of good restaurants. Since we arrived at the place first, the husband and I decided to roam around and check out everything the place has to offer. Found myself ordering a large chocolate milk shake at Iceberg and was even kidded by the husband about reading more about appetite suppressant reviews! Hmp, maybe I’m really fat now eh? But who cares… it’s Christmas time and everyone are on their festive mood including myself that is why I tend to enjoy everything and eat more! And yes, we had a very sumptuous Chinese dinner at Hap Chan too! :D

Told my husband that we better start taking care of our body now that we are starting to age… well, I’ll be hitting the big 3-0 this coming April and I really can start how my body becomes weak and my metabolism practically slows down thus explains my continuous weight gain. So I told him that it’ll be better for us to have a routine and maybe take some pills to help our body burn fats and all… though he might consider lifting weights and taking in bodybuilding supplements too! I just hope he’d be able to consider my suggestion :D

Christmas donation

Dearest daughter came home earlier with a note from their school’s administrator pertaining to their Christmas gift giving to be held before their scheduled Christmas party. And according to the said note, they are required to donate can goods, instant noodles, used clothes, toys and also medicines like cough and cold syrups, acne and eczema creams!

And now, I better check our stuff to see if there are good to donate items and have it ready for donation :D

Turns out, they brought along with them stuff for dinner and immediately once they arrived, the girlfriend does her swift strut in front of my stove and does her thing :D But of course, aside from helping her with the cutting and all, we talked about life and all that jazz even acne solution too! I was about to put myself to sleep when my cousin buzzed and asked for some help. Turns out, he needs information on how to treat scalp eczema though he's still not sure if it is indeed eczema or just plain allergy on his head. Mom told me about her friend whom she haven’t seen for a long time and when she does, was so surprised to see her so slim and thin! The last time she saw her is she’s almost as big as my mom but now?! lo and behold, she looks like a teenager again! but of course, mom interrogated her and asked her what she did in order to came up with a body like that. Thank heavens she told my mom her secret of what diet pills she's popping! And yes, mom will try it out soon too! :D

I’m thinking of buying a few new set of wardrobe for myself before Christmas, something that I can wear during the midnight masses and other holiday occasions that calls for smart-casual to semi-formal attire. That’s why I’m looking at these lovely long skirts that can be worn on casual to somewhat formal events. Be paired with a nice pair of pumps, boots or even strappy sandals and I’m for sure good to go! :D

I love coffee and the thought of having to choose and buy for my own contemporary coffee tables excites me much! In fact, it is the husband who suggested that we should take a look and canvass for a nice coffee table where we can sit and talk during our afternoon or before bed bonding where of course, I can have my favorite cup of joe while he chit chats with me. And of course, he’s the one who’ll buy me that!

Labor sale is just a few hours away, and that means shopping! Oh yeah! for sure a lot of my friends will be shopping for costumes and other home stuff online. Thank goodness for friends who always are open and available to do all the shopping and boxing our orders and loots. Anyways, one of the thing I look forward to this upcoming sale is a set of Baldwin door hardware that my dad asked me to buy online. You see, dad has this thing for  well crafted and high quality door knobs that in fact, even our bedroom doors at home has double/dead locks too! That ‘s how he likes the doors to be, complete with accessories and it has to be gold toned! :D So there, will be checking out door stuff in a few!

So I've been too lazy to do my thing on our treadmill. Blame it with my whacked up hormones or something, really don't know but I can't seem to find time and will to do some real exercise nowadays. The husband even kids me to just do a hundred on his personally made pull up bars! c'mon! me doing pull ups?! I don't think so... though been hearing so many good results if you do that routine as often as possible. But for me, I'd rather do crunches! :D

I am on my saving up mode, yeah, really, you better believe me this time. forgetful kathy

Sometimes I wonder why do I keep on forgetting things, important things to be precise. Imagine, forgetting my passwords for important accounts! I should have check out this document management system and apply it to my personal use so with that, I wouldn't have to forget my important stuff that I often use online. The huge amount of time being eaten up while I do my search and recovering is totally wasted instead of being able to do more important tasks, here I am, nagging myself on why do I often forget those things! argh.

One of my favorite to do whenever I go to the mall is drop by the bookstore and spend a few minutes there, browsing the latest book releases - if I don't have any thoughts of buying. So the last time I was there, found a stash Filipino written books and this is what actually caught my attention. A book written by a well known Filipino movie/screen play writer, Ricky Lee that talks about love and loss.
Didn't bought the book, I'm on a budget these past few days... maybe when I'm financially able to splurge again, definitely will buy books again!

Disney Hollywood Hotel Room

Forgive me for not updating my "supposedly" photo blog as often as possible, well as most of you know, my hands are so full with so many stuff online and offline. And with a pre-schooler to attend to everyday - life has been uberly busy!

Anyways, as I was organizing my photos during our Hong Kong trip, I realized that it has been a month already and still, haven't blog about it! I should have reminisce our first out of the country trip so my readers will be able to know the stories behind all that so many photos!

So to start of, let me share with you some shots of our Disney Hollywood Hotel room, which we (specially my daughter) really adored! Everything was just right and in all fairness, it met my expectations well! though there is no outdoor fireplace or something, because we didn't need any heating equipment during the time we were there (it was summer, fyi). So there, will post more pictures and hopefully will be able to finish our
trip story within this week!

binge mode

been eating a whole lot of carbohydrates filled foods and sugar loaded desserts this past few days. It has been my thing to go out and eat more than what I'm supposed to when I am worried, troubled and stressed out. Even my doctor told me to stop binging on foods during my stress filled days because in the end, things will be alright but my weight and health will not. You see, when we over eat foods that are not that really healthy, outcome will lead us to sickness and obesity. Of course, taking quick weight loss will help big time but the emotional baggage of being over weight and problems loaded will not easily washed away. That is why, I guess it's time for me to think things slowly and decide what best for me without giving a binge on food

Been so busy this past few weeks, blame it on my other blogs that I have to update. Thus making me so ngarag and stressful. My mom even asked me if I have a problem or something because there are some zits visible on my forehead! argh, yeah I'm earning some few dollars here but men, the effects are so visible! I had to look for effective and safe best acne treatments as soon as possible! do you have any suggestions? c'mon tell me your secret... holler up alright?! I will be waiting...

hair loss problem

a friend sent me a message asking me about natural cures for hair loss. You see, he has been experiencing major hair loss ever since he stepped foot on that country, most probably it's from the unruly climate or weather (or whatever you call it) that it has, causing scalp irritation thus explains loss of his hair. Actually, even my husband told me about that too after a few weeks of staying there, but he managed to get over it by giving extra care to his hair - by not using hot water during his shower and bath time (that I find very impossible to believe! lol) So there, do you have any suggestion on what to use or do for him to avoid major hair loss?

I was just checking out some of my friends latest facebook updates when I saw a picture 0f me taken at our friend's wedding last April, a few days after I had a hair cut... good thing the camera was not very well focus on our face or else you would see my zits and what nots! it was really awkward specially to host an even knowing that there are pimples around your face! Just imagine how I feel so un-pretty during that said event... but nevertheless at least it wasn't too obvious, right? Guess what, it took me some time to search for blackhead removal online, I even called my dad to find one for me in the States. Good thing it just disappeared after almost two weeks! thank heavens!

After weeks of not driving, found myself behind the wheel earlier today to accompany my sister to the salon. And as expected, there are only few cars/motorists on the road as people are glued in to their television sets to watch the inauguration of the newly elected President of the country. But a friend bluntly tells his online friends through his status that he is not interested with the 'show' but rather found himself more interested with a d0cumentary that features about Texas Truck accident lawyer! Oh well, at least he gets to learn so many things about road accidents which in the future he can tell me more about since I do drive and whether I like it our not is prone to road misfortune!

excited for the trip

Still wide awake and blogging, well aside from packing our stuffs for our upcoming family trip on Monday. Actually I'm still clueless on what to bring since it's our first out of the country trip. A friend suggested that we should bring some typical medicines in case something happened, like we got affected or something with the change of weather or something. She also told us to doze on whatever vitamin we got so to boost our immune system and be as healthy as possible and no mishaps on whatsoever during our trip! Oh well, I'm blabbing here, just excited! :D

A close friend of mine called earlier and told me a good news..she's pregnant! after waiting for more than three years, they finally made it! And with that, she immediately told me and also asked me about prenatal vitamins that she can take in. But of course, I can't just prescribed her anything even if those vitamins worked for me. Told her that she better asked her OB what's best for her just to make sure and all.

Rainy days is already here! And thus the flood too, everywhere. In fact, like two days ago, the husband and I decided to visit my cousins in the city, unfortunately it rained the whole travel time so we were most of the time slow moving, traffic was terrible! And the reason? because it flood already! Oh yes, with just what, a straight 10 minutes of rain and it already flooded the area. How we felt sorry for the commuters who got no choice but to dip themselves on the dirty flood while waiting for their transportation. How lucky for those who have cars and are already on the road, for we are spared from walking and standing in that germs and dirt full water, I hope those people didn't get eczema or other skin diseases that are very common to that. And I do also hope that the local government will take action on that flood thing and do something about it, so it won't happen again.

My cousin who recently boarded a cruise ship to work as a cabin crew emailed me and told me so many wonderful things that she has experienced in a week's time. Turns out, they were able to tour down the Florida area and was able to visit their crew head's house in the orlando timeshare
Oh well, I'm really happy for my cousin, but deep inside I can't help but feel jealous because I also dream of seeing all those wonderful sites that she has already visited! But still, I'm really happy for her :D
community or resort! She was so ecstatic she had to take a lot of photos there, never in her wildest thought that she'll be able to tour around the world and now, look at what has luck got her!

Yesterday when the husband and rummaging his stuffs, he suddenly saw my boots! and I can't understand his reaction when he first saw it. After a few seconds of being stunned, he looked at me with questioning stare of some sort as if asking me bluntly of what in the world a pair of knee high boots is doing on our storage cabinet. Can't help but only smile and let that act do the talking. Thank heavens he was probably just too tired to make kulit and ask me why I have a boots, in a country which is 99% tropical and super duper humid and scorching hot! oh well, men will always be men... they'll never understand our taste for fashion! :D

It has been what, more than three years now when I started shopping online. It was really a heaven feeling whenever click the items that I would love to have and voila, in a matter of few weeks, the item together with some more items is delivered to my doorstep! That simple. believe me, we are all living in a conscious world now. even i, if not only breastfeeding and financially able, i would be happy to take dietary supplements, fat burning capsules, specialized tea's for slimming purposes and if given a chance, would undergo tummy tuck and lipo! :) given the fact that i am not the type of person who's afraid of needles and seeing blood. it would be easy for me! can somebody be my sponsor for this? hehehe...

food photog

If given a chance, I'd get myself into product/food photography. Basically because I love to eat and eat sweets... and the latter are the most interesting item to shoot (for me). That is why, I often tend to search on the net for the nicest food snaps taken by those fella shutterbugs like me. And here is one of the many I found that actually makes me drool, I love ice cream sundaes and the dainty colors are so overwhelming nice! But in the end, I need to pop on my phentremine for me not to get so fat and bloated from all those yummies!

sleeping prob

I used to have no problem with sleeping when I was younger. And those best sleep aids were non sense to me, because I'm the type of person who can sleep just about anywhere at anytime! But I realized that as we age, getting myself to sleep has been one of my issues. Maybe because I tend to
work till the wee hours of the night and my body is not used to sleeping at an early time of the time. so now, I'm not sure if my case is considered as mild insomniac or I just need a little help from sleeping aid to get me to slumber.

election'10

Election 2010 is over and done, as well as the annunciation/proclamation of the winners is just one
breath away. And what's next for us all?! Not really sure on that though, but we all still hope that all their promises will get into action like the social security disability that they promised for the elders of the country or their district constituents. The promise of work and free education to those who can't afford to pay for their own tuition. Free or cheap medicines that can be avail by those who truly needs it amongst the other promises they made during their campaigns. I truly hope that they'd stick to what they said and not leave us all on hang.

stuck

Why there are so many sickies nowadays?! probably the effect of the scorching heat! Summer, please end! We need our lives back.. you can't just take it all away with you and let us feel so drenched with our own perspiration and headache given by your sun's UV heat!
But then again, what's good about this is we are forced to stay indoors and do mind feeding if not watching televisions or talking nonstop. And then I learned about this energy auditor and the likes that can actually contribute good things on one's life! You see, there are so many stuff that are still waiting to unveil that we people must understand and use for the goodness of everyone!

fine lines

I notice how my face get fine lines as the days go by... probably it's just me, aging. That is why a friend of my suggested that we research for the best wrinkle cream and try it for ourselves! You see, we need to take extra care of our body now that we are almost to hit the big 3-0! Anyways, we'll see if the ones we got online does their thing real good in keeping skin subtle and wrinkle free, fine lines gone too! or better yet, I must try catching some zzz's eh? :D

zits

I'm supposed to had my facial schedule last weekend, unfortunately my surprise came and everything had gone gaga, my schedules I mean. Now I need to re-schedule my appointment and had my dermatologist assigned me another date of visit so she can had my Acneticin shot or something, for my few zits on my forehead! which is indeed very much making me feel so uneasy! :D Oh well, hormones can get so messed up right!?

Summer time and it's bikini time for most ladies.. unfortunately, for those who are still not so confident enough to flaunt their bodies on those skimpy bikini settles for less enticing outfit for the beach. So maybe, it's also the time for a quick weight loss plan and who knows, after a week or two things will be totally different, size wise! :D
Oh man, thank heavens we still haven't got any plans to hit the beach or something, yet.

pill

Staring blankly at this slimming pill and thinking if I shall start on this or not. Though I heard that this brand is really effective, it still bugs me to try one. I don't know maybe it's just not me who pop pills or something to lose weight, but unfortunately, I'm on my biggest now and I need huge help! And this pill is said to be my savior! But I still need time, probably a good night sleep in order for me to assess myself if I'd take this or not. Oh well. Life.

new netbook!

Something's not right with my laptop lately... keeps on crashing and it's bugging me! Probably I need to check out new affordable netbooks and see if I can fork out enough money to get one. Something that I'd be able to bring with me when I go out, especially now that I'm a doting preschooler mother, need something to do while waiting for my dearest daughter in school! :D
hmmm, I wonder if my reasons justify?! :D

abstaining from what?

It's already the midweek of the Holy Week and tomorrow, I'm thinking of fasting on dinner and if I my body can, also lunch until Thursday. I remember how I do this fasting thing some years ago, when I was still chugging down cigarettes, I'd abstain myself from smoking for the whole week and yes, it was a yearly success! Though now I wonder if there is this electric cigarette during that time, probably I'm on that during my abstinence! lol
oh well.. those were the days!

Do you have any idea on the effective appetite suppressant that I can take? well for my mom and me actually. You see, ever since my dad came home for his vacation, we practically haven't stop eating! thus making us gain more and more pounds as to this day. And what I think is the best thing to do is start taking suppressants since we can't practically stop from indulging those yummy dishes every so often. Been hearing so many stuffs from other people but I can't just take it and try it out without anyone I know who really rely on how safe and effective it is. So there, maybe you can share or tell me what you know is really effective and safe to use when it comes to losing weight.

My sister sent me a link of a seller that offers cute statement shirts, particularly the ladies single tees. Something that are made for the single ladies who wants to strut some cool statements and graphic prints on their shirts. Definitely will be a hit for those single ladies friends of mine... hmm, I'm actually thinking of reselling this lovelies together with some other items. Anyways, I better get in touch with the seller as soon as I can because my friends and I will have a meet up this weekend, to talk about the diets that work on a couple of friends that they want to share with us. So there, it'll be a perfect time to offer them these shirts!

So my sister's graduation were over and done last Friday.. and it went really well! Our folks were too happy to witness that special milestone of their youngest child. And of course, I took so many photos! who else would?! :D And last night, we gather around the tv room to see the photos together. Perfect bonding time I must say. Anyways, we were having a great time watching when my sister decided to get my framed graduation photos and compare the before and after looks of us all there! How funny because my sister literally transformed from a small and chubby little kid to a prim and glam up College graduate! Then we thought of having all those 10 year old photos scan and put on our facebook albums... but first, we need to install this scanning software in order for us to do the scanning thingy! This is going to be fun! :D Can't wait for the comments from friends already!

SOOC - my first!

Now here's my first SOOC (straight out of camera) Sunday entry for you all! Finally found a weekly meme that caters to photography enthusiasts all over the web that can sign on, well aside from different organizations (such as www.getridofblackheads.org and many more) that I joined too . And so, you'd be expecting a weekly entry from me from now on. And as a mechanic of this meme, the entry must not be tweak and it must be really straight from the camera shot... so there, here is my first entry, the story behind... while my daughter and I are doing our own thing, (she was playing with her littlest pet toys, and I was tweaking my camera while we eat chocolates) I decided to take a snap of what I love my most ( passion wise) and there, chocolates and photography equals love!

Something in my skin's face is not right. I wonder if it is cause by the harsh hot weather or it's just me and getting old. Whatever it is, I better find the best natural face cream in order for me to fight skin aging and dryness, soon. Thank goodness for sites online that offers fair reviews on products that consumer might consider using, with that, people wouldn't get wrong from choosing because they were able to read first and weigh things (from the reviews and raves of other customers for the product itself) before trying it out! So there, my hut now continues for that perfect face cream! any suggestions!?

Twilight Saga in different covers

I happen to saw this Twilight saga book covers that was released in Indonesia. Pretty cool huh? if you compare to the original cover that was released in the US and most parts of the world. I wonder if this is really ok with the author, no issues whatsoever, that I am not so sure about. Anyways, as for me, I really don't like it. Plain and simple, like if given a chance and I first saw this book having such covers, I wouldn't feel the gut to read it. Well, it's just me and my preference to covers and colors and designs. So there, just my two cents, gotta move on now and go out to buy some adult acne remedy!
