summer vacation!

Summer is nearing and holiday season is bidding its goodbye, and all we dream is to enjoy a great vacation that summer has to offer. If only money is not a problem, probably we are one of the many who will greatly enjoy some Family Friendly Vacation rental available for tourists in the great beaches and resorts in different parts of the country from Cancun! The husband and I usually talks about having one grand vacation in the years to come when we can really afford one, but not now specially when financial stability is not yet visible. Although we can afford those overnight stays that is not that expensive and a little of that family day out in one resort or hotels that are not so far away. Almost everyday, my closest and some online buddies are still connected even if we are not frequently seing each other. moroccan lamps

Do you know that there is this website that caters different kinds of lighting fixtures which specializes in making Moroccan lamps that i find so neat and nice, imagine your abode having little light posts with a destinct feel and effect, classic style! I remember when my parents are in the process of planning our house design mom wants to have a little landscaped garden of her own, she asked the architect if it is still possible to allocate a small space for the pocket garden, but sadly, there is not enough space to accomodate her request, the land area is too small.. my mom was broken hearted! that is why she promised herself of one day she'll make way for having a mini garden complete with bermuda grass, mini fountain or water falls complete with lamp posts and statue of Mama Mary and of course with super detailed moroccan lamps too!. in a few months, my parents will again have another set of apartments be made, i think she'll have her wish of a mini garden be heard by the architect. hopefully she'll have what she wants this time.

the birthday girl

Today is my daughter's second birthday! how time flies, I really don't know, it was just like yesterday when I first saw her fragile body and now she has grown into a very smart and talented toddler! Everyone loves her! she has a personality that matches her movements and speaking skills! And I am one proud mama here of course.
So how are we going to celebrate her birthday later today? The simple way it is! We ordered a Dora cake and will prepare snacks for some relatives who will come. Will also take a lot of photos and this reminds me to ready the compact flash!

another good bye

It is another sad day for us, well no, don't get me wrong nothing terribly happened or whatever. It's just my dad is already preparing his luggage for he is about to leave tomorrow for work. Yes, we'll have to count another six months so we can see him again. Sometimes we always wish for a better luck for all of us so he wouldn't have to leave us here and at the same no more cries and missing of each other. Well, this is just another pace in out life that we have to accept, it is in fact for the goodness of us all. I just hope he will not get home sick or anything like that.

moi day

As mentioned on my other blog, I had a relaxing facial the other day with firming mask to cap the session! It was truly a needed one since my face has been a resident village of those unruly black and white heads! That is why I made sure to get the treatment that would really target those whatnots, surprisingly the receptionist were able to discuss every single treatments that they has to offer, making me confuse on what to get. So I asked for their most preffered one, and lined me up with the botanical seaweed facial session with vitamin e collagen firming mask that lasted for an hour and a half. It was so relaxing that I was able to take a nap during the steaming time and the masking period. My face now feels so relaxed and subtle! hoping for another session next month!

joints needs

My mom has been complaining her body and joint pains, sometimes she even felt like a melting candle, you know the feeling of draining or something. Anyways, my dad suggested that she should get some dose of exercise since her body has been slogging in some ways, not getting enough movement causing her blood flow to clog or something. But you see, going and enrolling for a gym program is near impossible for her, so dad asked for the help to put out and clean the shelved pedal exerciser from the storage room so mom can use it for her walking exercise while watching over the kids of the family. And yes, everyone in the family is being encourage to get some walk or jog in the said pedal exerciser, for health wise purpose of course.

that is what Moogy -- our 1 year old pitbull's motto these days... you see, this one big and sexy dog is up and ready for stud! :) but since, there is no schedule 'it' time for him yet, we just make him so busy with his body building exercise.. hitting the treadmill, routine jogging and walking every so often makes his day. inquiries regarding his stud services are pouring in from the time he was so ready for his oh so manly job... making my husband his official pimp! lol... one great task for the dog right, getting paid to laid! lol...

blisters attack

When I was still studying, I used to always have blisters due to the daily wearing of black school shoes. Something that I wasn't able to get over until I fish my high school, I have no ways to prevent it during those times but band aids and patches, but unfortunately, to no avail. It was said to be caused by the frequent rubbing of my feet to my hard shoes. It was only on my College days when my dad came home with ENGO Blister Prevention patches! It totally was an awesome product because it prevents my feet from getting blisters even if I wear my shoes everyday! Super recommended for those feet who happens to experience frequent blisters! With that, my dad make sure to hoard a whole lot of it before he went home for his every vacation, and until now, we still have stocks of it that my sister uses! :D

During our wedding preparation, I got so hook on checking out sites that features and sells out unique wedding props, I actually wanted everything to be personalized because during that time, there are only few local sellers who does personalized loots that is why I wanted to be different but something that comes up with that is the huge amount of having almost everything done in uniform way. So, what I did was visit sites such as theknot.com a wedding site shop that makes everything personalized according to your likes! From their unique wedding favor ideas to personalized items to the free tips and suggestions a bride to be has to know! And one of my most desired item before were this personalized cameras!

Super nice to have in every table to have your guests take part in capturing the nicest things and happenings during your wedding. Something, that I wasn't able to order because I still do not know anyone who can help me with the ordering online. But if only, I could have bought this pretty cameras!

day 1

day 1 --- woke up before 6am -- prep myself up, wore my sneakers and sweats while the husband readied himself and Moogy (our pitbull dog) for a morning jog at the nearby village. left Olin with Ate Mean since we cannot tag her along --in a few more days maybe when she can steadily walk on her own. but for now, it was Moogy whom we are with.
good thing the weather is jiving with us this morning, yesterday was another story --it rained hard in the morning thus we failed to have our got-to-be-fit bonding...
my calves and back is aching right now i tell you! hirap mag-papayat! whew! but i enjoyed the few hours with the husband :)

reminiscing

i love the city are the beautiful flowers throughout the year, because of the cold climate of the place. thus making them one of the most source for flowers and other plants being brought to different place all over the country. because of the favored weather they has and the beautiful flowers that blooms in their place, they created a yearly fest about flowers, they also have the ala-rose parade that is being held at the festival date, where hundreds of locals and tourists gathered around the main street to see beautiful and grand floats parading.
i really love that place, the husband and i even had our honeymoon there early 2006. below are some of the memories of our first vacation as husband and wife.

Have you seen the smiling moon last December 1? Good thing a friend texted me and told me that the sky is smiling! I had to run fast to see what she was talking about, and there I saw two stars and the moon all formed in a huge smile! I was so giddy happy that I run back inside the house to get my camera and snap the sky! :D even the husband called me to tell me what he saw.. :D So there, here's my smiling moon shot!
